Failing Class

Failing Class

She’s an endeavoring law school student, and he’s an engineer of sorts
One studies the laws of physics, the other a list of torts

Porcelain Praise

Porcelain Praise

You can always be found, you are always near
You’re seldom heated, In fact a bit cold on the rear

You’re sturdy and firm, and smooth to the skin

Timed Ascent

Timed Ascent

He asks if he can stay
That door a passage way
To the heat that lies within
Two lovers, even friends
Enjoying lustful grins
Their bodies in a groove
To their pulse they move

Raining Pain

Raining Pain

Is this a smile cross my face or just the pain
When the sun is darkened by the hail
Or is it somehow simply rain

Time moves like a burdened train
Its steam a fading trail

Warring Thanks

Blackbird, Blackbird the Bluebird is calling
We’re taking on fire and the clock is still turning
Dirt is flying, our world is churning
Shouts, take cover as the bullets are burning

Turning Leaves

Burning deep inside,
so much harder to hide,
this train wreck of a ride,
leaves him wanting

Feelings oh so true,
he knows not what to do,
the flames burn hot with blue,
leaves him turning

Taken for Granted

This report so hard to take,
As my body sits in fear
The words can’t even make
The echoes I sadly hear

I never dreamed things would end this way
I expected so many days
