Mountains

So there I was
Who I was
That remains
Though I was there
I know that
Chasing around the birds
Singing jazzy tunes
Hopscotch in the fields
The daisies were ever beautiful
The sun and sea
Ra and Poseidon
Oh how they sung with me

Who is that beautiful soul
Dancing there in the fields
As I dance
So does she

The sun goes down
As we dance together
Deep into the night
The owls now sing our song

Awaking in her arms
Our cloths mountain on the floor
Oh how blissful was the night
A night we shall remember
And how we will forever dance
And dance

Dance

Dance

Passing into years

Dancing to the owls
Dancing in the dark
Dancing as we fade away

Fading…

Fading…

And what was there
Now turns to this
Oh did I ever hit you
When you cut deep into my heart
Twisting the blade
Oh did you enjoy it
Did I hear you laugh

The mountain now has dwindled
Only photographs remain
And every glance upon the frame
Pushes deeper with the blade

Though never will I let them go

And the dance
And the owls

The sun

The sea

The daisies and the fields

Oh never will I let them go
For they are all
That now remain…

Wow

Virtu,

This piece had so much to say from a sweet sweet beginning to a painful ending. I am pleased thought that you have chosen to remember the sweet beginnings. Harboring pain never gets anyone anywhere.

You held my attention quite rapt with this piece.
