Hopeful thinking

Down by the river where we used to sit for hours and hours end
Talk about the future while I gently kiss your sweet lips
Without a worry of our hearts and thoughts
We were the happiest couple under the moonlight of fall
The world could have turn on us in any given moments
Just like the autumn mist slowly turn into the frozen rain
Even then,
Walking side by side looks forward of us holding hands;
We know we had each other and nothing could stand in our ways
Much like the heat wave of the blazing summer,
Our love for each other have never dies down on tiny bits
Just by looking into each other’s eyes,
We know everything would be alright~
However, the story did not end this way
The romance has ended in a blink of an eye
All that we had was lost, can’t turn back time

If only I could, I’d wish
Would you please be back at the river and catch the fireflies with me for one last time!

good poem, i like the end,

good poem, i like the end, catching fireflies thought, one last time
