relief

whenever you look outside,
it might look black as heck,
or it could be as light as day;
but either way, when you look outside,
you feel relief.

Or cause a draught

On January 2nd, 2008 AuraGem says:

Miroslav Holub wrote on a similar thought. The poet invites you to "go and open the door" and concludes "at least you will feel a draught".

Love the way you succinctly capture the whole challenge of "daring".
