A Midnight Moon
She sat beneath a Midnight Moon
Letting her hair blow in the wind
Watching the purple sky reflect
Her love torn heart
Her purple hair, long and silky
Her lavender eyes, filled with tears
Closed and clenched against the wind
that, like a sword, cut through her
If that blonde was still out there
with which ever girl
She would be happy
She would be calm
At least he's loved
Who cares about her
But as the sun rises beyond the horizon
She forgets this blonde, unrequited love
And gets up from the lavender field
And continues with her life
But each night, she sits here
In her dark purple kimono
With waterfall decorations
The same one he bought for her
She looks at the moon
Just like they did back when
And smiles up at the silver light
Knowing that he is still with her too
And so one day
After long full moons passed
A blonde boy on a purple Midsummer night
Picks up the purple haired girl and runs at the speed of light
Finally together
What took him so long
And with a sigh, she closes her lavender eyes
Her life has just begun
Again the same way
Under a Midnight Moon
A Midnight Moon of Love
