Allah, Buddha, Jesus…
Is it all in the name?
Does it really matter?
Don’t they want the same?

Their tales are so different
And so are many places…
But don’t they all guide us
To be in heaven’s graces

Do you face the East…
Or do you face the west...
Worship on a Saturday…
Is Sunday when you rest?

How do you really know
That other Gods aren’t true?
Their followers are people
That believe just like you!

So are you God almighty,
The omnipotent one!
Did you split the ocean
And sacrifice your son?

Did you make all the rules…
It’s your way…or no way!
If you’re not really God
Then who are you to say?

Would you declare war…
In the name of the Lord…
Hold a cross in one hand
And in the other a sword?

If you persecute others,
To prove that you are right…
Does it defeat the purpose
And is it worth the fight?

Will you harm thy brother
Just for his religion?
Will your God be happy
For making that decision?

If you believe your God will
Then here’s a prayer for you.
For you will surely need it
To find a God that's true!

For a prayer…is a prayer…
And a sin…is a sin!
Your body is your temple…
That your God lives within!

Just do unto others…
As you’d have them treat you
And love all thy brothers
The way that God loves you!

Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu,
Christian, others and Jew
Let us pray together,
We find a God that’s true!
