He's Just An Angle Now

She came to school one day with a picture of a boy.

Put him in her locker and sealed him with a kiss.

Every hour she opens that door and sees her heart.

Around his picture is three little words, I Love You.

Yet the handwriting couldn't perhaps be hers.

In her cell phone is yet another picture.

The both of them laying under stars.

her phone says; Simply all yours with two little dots then his name.

Around her neck is a small diamond necklace.

Around her finger is her wedding band.

Around her heart seems to be his name.

All to keep his love with her.

The necklace saying her name.

The ring saying his and hers.

Yet the sorrow in her heart shall not disappear.

She doesn't take off what he has given to her.

For it reminds her that he is now an Angel,

that is floating above her keep her unharmed.

He may no be with her any longer,

but in her dreams he awaits her.

Its been a couple years and 3 days since he left her.

The day he went away was the day the twins fell.

He used to be the proud fire fighter dad,

now he's just the girl's memory.

He was called to the accident with no time to explain.

He left with just saying little girl daddy loves you and hunny i love you remember that always,

then sealed it with his warmth.

Down the road he went in the "big red machine".

She was left alone with her daughter in the fire station making the food they wanted before they disappeared.

Loud noises come from the screen as reporters tell the story that caused so much great pain.

In that instance she knew something didn't go right.

All day the annoyance of sadness was crepping around her just waiting to explain.

She waited no longer was the boys pulled back up and released themselves from the fire truck.

She sees that some men are missing not wanting to think that they were gone.

A best friend that worked with her husband came to her giving her a hug to show he cared and knew her pain.

Finally telling that The Twins crashed on him before he could escape.
