Yellow Brick Road
A manufactured house
blocks the road I'm on, sprawled
from the side street to the ditch,
all the way with no way
to get around. Except maybe
a maze of dirt
roads and some luck.
I turn back to the highway.
no heart,
no brain,
no courage:
I'm going home.

Good journey poem, you represent well taking that next step can be scary. I enjoyed reading, thanks. raskin

You turned a blocked roadway
You turned a blocked roadway into lemonaide --
which beats turning a lemon into lemonaide any day.
